MARINE LITTER: SOURCE TO SEA APPROACH

Anthropogenic pollution of global water resources is not only threatening the marine environment and causing harm to seabirds, fish and other water-bound species, but is also
leaking into the human food chain. RWA (through network partner Wasteaware) is working with the Stockholm International Water Institute to develop a Source-to-Sea approach to the problem of plastic leakage that links causes and impacts.
